We started the Christmas season with a fun celebration at Jake's work. It was fun to be with Jake even though he was busy working. The hotel did such a great job at making a special event for the public to attend. It was definitely geared towards kids, which was fun with all the cousins. They had hot chocolate, scones, letter writing to Santa, decorating cookies, lighting of the tree, and a darling teddy bear display. Ava had a blast! We will be making this a family tradition. It was all paid for by the Grand America, so keep that in mind for next year. They plan to have this the day after Thanksgiving every year. I heart this time of year!
